Incredible paid iPhone apps

Everyone loves a good app and we’re no exception! There’s nothing we love more than a great iPhone app and here are just a few of our favourites from this week.

 

• Run Roo Run – This app uses the tried and tested single screen platformer mode to produce yet another great iPhone app. Play as mother kangaroo, navigate the obstacles and work your way through all four hundred levels to save your kidnapped Joey. The journey from Sydney to Perth has never been as much fun!

• Color Texting for iMessages – Add a splash of color to iMessage and text messages with this nifty app. Color Texting for iMessages does exactly what it says on the tin – lets you add color to your messaging. Colored bubbles, text, cursive fonts, textured bubbles, glowing fonts and ghost themes are just some of the awesome effects you can add. Sweet!

• Numberlys – This is another fantastic children’s ebook from the creators of The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr Morris Lessmore. Youngsters will adore this interactive mix of King Kong, Metropolis, Flash Gordon, the Marx brothers and Superman. It really is THAT good! Oh, it will teach them about the origins of the alphabet too.

• ZDAY Survival Simulator – Are you afraid of a zombie-run apocalypse? If so, this is the app for you. Working on the premise that the best way to learn something is to practise it, this app simulates a zombie attack and teaches you how to make the right choices to stay ahead of the undead. Taking a leaf out of those old multiple-choice adventure books, this is  a fantastic app.

• Tiki Kart 3D – Who doesn’t love kart racing? This 3D game depicts it perfectly, giving you full control over your vehicle, which is subject to realistic physics and very competitive opponents. Travel deep into the volcano to discover some amazing vehicles, then race your way around all 15 tracks. With 8 karts to choose from and a selection of boosts and weapons, you’re sure to have a blast.
